Meeting with case studies in Galicia, Spain

August 19, 2024

On July 17th, Universidade de Vigo and FUNDAMAR held a productive meeting at the GALP Ría de Arousa, followed by another insightful session on July 18th at the GALP Ría de Pontevedra. Both of these GALP (Local Action Groups for Fisheries) are participating in FARCLIMATE as case studies, with each ría (estuary) representing one case.

During these meetings, FARCLIMATE was presented to representatives from various entities and stakeholders in the fishing, shellfishing, and aquaculture sectors, as well as related industries. They engaged in dynamic discussions to identify additional local and regional actors who can collaborate with us to develop effective solutions to the challenges posed by climate change adaptation.
