How will we do it?
WP1 – Project Management
Establishing a robust organizational structure is vital for efficient and goal-oriented management. This includes creating secure channels for data exchange among the project team and setting up the necessary infrastructure. To guarantee the attainment of objectives, it’s crucial to deliver technical reports to the European Commission promptly and to identify potential risks, implementing corrective measures when needed.
WP2 – Case studies development and Stakeholders interaction
Create guidelines for identifying and selecting case studies, outlining their scope and involving participants across the value chain. Develop both the conceptual and operational framework to unleash the potential for climate change adaptation in various regions. Establish the conceptual and methodological foundation for living labs that engage all communities in addressing climate change challenges.
WP3 – Characterisation of the case studies
Description of case studies focusing on new value chains tailored to the evolving environmental conditions; Conducting economic analyses of these case studies linked to the transformation of the value chain; Identifying diverse social impacts on employment and living conditions resulting from the evolution of these case studies; Creating strategies to enhance the alignment of value chains with the EU Taxonomy.
WP4 – Transversal solutions: training and empowerment for communities
Developing a training methodology that can be easily adapted and applied to other regions. To efficiently organize and oversee the implementation of training, utilizing both online and offline methods in the case studies. Enhancing the skills and capabilities of FARCLIMATE stakeholders through targeted initiatives.
WP5 – Innovation solutions in the specific sectors
To establish a pilot network for CNS management; to foster climate resilience within the agriculture sector; to raise awareness among the population about the impacts of climate change and human activity on the marine environment, promoting resilience and environmental consciousness; To form rapid-response brigades equipped to address emergencies stemming from climate change in the fishing sector.
WP6 – Making meaning of data: from information to stakeholder-focused Outcomes
To develop innovative solutions to manage the disruptive changes related to climate change. To offer potential political strategies to be explored across various scenarios. To map out the various actors involved in the Climate Adaptation Mission.
WP7 – Transformative solutions for a positive climate future
Creating impactful knowledge and valuable experiences to hasten climate adaptation efforts. Developing user-focused solutions that bring about a positive future in tackling climate challenges. Improving the efficiency of actions and leveraging synergies through an expanding network of Connected Action for EU adaptation.
WP8 – Harnessing synergies and use of results
Creating a flexible communication and dissemination strategy tailored to diverse target groups and messages. Execute this strategy through various communication activities and events.
To forge connections with established networks, projects, and initiatives to facilitate the effective exchange of knowledge involving a broad array of pertinent stakeholders.
